The 2020 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft was held on January 16, 2020, in Baltimore, and as expected, Stanford's Sophia Smith was selected No. 1 overall by the Portland Thorns FC.

NWSL Teams Exercise Options and Extend Offers Heading into 2019 Season

Teams in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) have released updated rosters heading into the 2019 offseason. Teams can exercise contract options or extend new contract offers to players currently on the rosters. Players whose option isn't exercised or don't receive a new contract offer are placed on the re-entry wire. The list of players who are allocated for the 2019 season will be released at a later date.
