The nominees for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year are midfielder Carli Lloyd from the United States, midfielder Aya Miyama from Japan, and forward Célia Šašić from Germany. FIFA announced the finalists on Monday.

United States coach Jill Ellis, England coach Mark Sampson, and Japan coach Norio Sasaki are nominated for FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women’s Football.

The finalists for the FIFA Puskás Award for goal of the year were announced and did not include Lloyd’s goal from the midfield line in the final of the 2015 Women’s World Cup, which the United States won by defeating Japan, 5-2. The Puskás Award is voted on by fans.
