Barnet lifts Premier League Cup trophy after upsetting Nottingham Forest

Thursday night at Adams Park, it took penalties to decide the winner of the FA Women’s Premier League Cup. And in the end, it was Barnet who came out on top, beating Nottingham Forest, 4-3 on penalties. England U-20 and former Arsenal midfielder Abbie Prosser scored Barnet’s first penalty. Then, Vicky Boardman, Jess Trimnell, and Sally Wade all converted for Barnet. Wade struck the game-winner. Up next for Barnet – a March 27th meeting with West Ham in the FA Women’s Cup sixth round.
