Utah Acquires First-Round Pick in 2020 NWSL College Draft from Chicago in Exchange for Allocation Money

The first National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) trade involving allocation money has been completed. In the deal, the Utah Royals acquire the eight overall pick in the 2020 NWLS College Draft from the Chicago Red Stars in exchange for allocation money.

The amount of allocation money, however, has not be disclosed per league policy. UPDATE 01/27/2020: The amount of allocation money Chicago received is $60,000.

Utah now holds the 8th, 12th, and 31st picks in the 2020 NWSL College Draft.
