Australian, Spanish internationals and number of locals highlight Los Al Vikings roster

Grace Gill and Snez Veljanovska, coming off successful seasons in the Australian W-League, Patricia Carrion Salinas of Roldan FSF in Spain, and a handful of players from the Los Angeles area make up a large portion of the Los Al Vikings, the newest entry in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The Los Al Vikings will play in the Pacific-South Conference with Ajax, the Claremont Stars, Los Angeles Premier FC, the Orange County Waves, and the San Diego SeaLions. They open the season May 21 against the San Francisco Nighthawks.

In Australia, Snez Veljanovska played eight games for the Melbourne Victory, who made it to the W-League finals this past February, losing to Sydney FC. Grace Gill played for Canberra United, who lost to eventual Grand Final champions Brisbane Roar on penalties in the W-League finals.
