The Canadian women’s national team beat Mexico, 1-0, in the second round of the Torneio Internacional Cidade de São Paulo. With a goal from Christine Sinclair in the first half, Canada sealed its place on the tournament’s final against Brazil, since both teams have six points. On Wednesday, Brazil plays Canada face to fulfill the schedule (since both are already the finalists), and on Sunday, Dec. 19, they will play each other in the final at Pacaembú Stadium.
