The National Women's Soccer League added additional matches to close out the 2020 season. All nine teams will play four matches each for a total of 18 matches played from September 5 through October 17. Matches will air across network CBS, CBS Sports Network, and CBS All Access.

In the deal, the Utah Royals acquire the eight overall pick in the 2020 NWLS College Draft from the Chicago Red Stars in exchange for allocation money.
