The long-awaited URFC home opener on Saturday also served as the team’s season debut in the National Women’s Soccer League’s seventh season. The turnout, as well as the pre- and post-game festivities, was, in true Utah fashion, sensational for a team still finding its footing in its second season.
Teams in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) have released updated rosters heading into the 2019 offseason. Teams can exercise contract options or extend new contract offers to players currently on the rosters. Players whose option isn't exercised or don't receive a new contract offer are placed on the re-entry wire. The list of players who are allocated for the 2019 season will be released at a later date.
