Nikki Stanton Leaves the Chicago Red Stars to Pursue an Opportunity in Europe

Midfielder Nikki Stanton has left the Chicago Red Stars to pursue a playing opportunity in Europe.

Stanton began her National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) career with Sky Blue FC, making 41 appearances. In 2018, Stanton was traded to Chicago along with Sam Kerr in a three-way trade between the Houston Dash and Sky Blue FC.

In-between NWSL seasons, Stanton played for Perth Glory in Australia’s W-League. Collegiately, Stanton played for Fairfield University.
