Andressinha Parts Ways with Portland

Midfielder Andressinha and the Portland Thorns FC have agreed to part ways. The midfielder will return to Brazil in search of more playing time according to Gavin Wilkinson, Portland’s general manager and president of soccer.

Andressinha began her National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) career with the Houston Dash, appearing in 42 matches and contributing three goals. In 2018, Andressinha was traded to the Portland Thorns in exchange for forward Savannah Jordan.

Internationally, Andressinha has represented Brazil at two U-17 FIFA World Cups, two World Cups (2015 and 2019), and the Rio 2016 Olympics.
