U.S. U-20s beat Norway on final day of Ten Nations Tournament

The U.S. U-20 Women’s National team finished the Ten Nations Tournament today in La Manga, Spain by beating Norway, 2-0. Duke’s Kelly Cobb and Solar SC forward Taylor Smith scored for the U.S.

The nation’s number one recruit, Morgan Brian, who’s heading to the University of Virginia in the fall, assisted on Cobb’s goal. Taylor’s goal was assisted by Cobb. Abby Smith (Dallas Texans) and Stanford’s Emily Oliver each played one half in goal. The U.S. finished the tournament with one win and two scoreless draws, one against England and the other against Sweden in a 45-minute game that was called off at halftime due to thunder and lightning.
